[Fabric] Is changing the Fabric Loader used possible?

Hello! I'm using the last 1.20.1 fabric generator made by Goldorion on MCreator 2023.4, looking to make an addon type mod for Create Fabric 1.20.1. Though, I cannot get any version of Create to run within Mcreator when I try to test the mod since the fabric loader used is outdated. So, I wanted to see if anyone knows how to update the loader used to the current 0.16.9 version or if I am just doing something wrong. (Or if anyone knows where to find a version of Create 1.20.1 that works on the 0.14.21 version)
