i feels like the '_compileJava_1' file should be installed in workspace\build, do you have it? or can you visit that client-1.20.1-extra.jar download site?

try to move this to %USERPROFILE%\.mcreator\gradle\caches\forge_gradle\minecraft_repo\versions\1.20.1
i downloaded that file, mcr seems doesnt reorganize it
what ur mcr version? maybe 2023.4 not working as your version
