Vermilion

Overview

Vermilion is a vanilla-friendly mod that adds a new simple mini-boss in the swamps, a new pillager structure in the deserts, Ruby Ore and more. (Currently in beta)

Features

Ruby

Ruby Ore can be found uncommonly in any biome starting from Y25 but it does have increased spawn rates in deserts.
 

Ruby Gear Upgrading
 

To obtain Ruby armour/tools you must find a Ruby Smithing Template located in a few select structures. You can then apply the template alongside a ruby to any iron equipment and get the resulting ruby equivalent.

Outside the New Desert Illager Structure. One of the structures the Ruby Smithing Template can be found.
 

Utilities
 

Pouches

Pouches are small portable storage. Regular Pouches have 5 slots and Bejewelled Pouches have 12.

• Tallow Dropped from pigs when killed

• Small additions to the swamp biome
• Swamp Villa Structure with Mini-boss inside
• Plague Witch Mini-boss that when killed drops the Swamp Heart that can be used to craft the Famine Totem that helps grow crops
• Soul Hook weapon that when Right-Clicked pulls any nearby mobs to the player
