How can I use a later version of Neoforge than what's available in MCreator?

I'm using another mod as a dependency for 1.21.1, and it requires Neoforge 21.1.190 or later, but MCreator only supports up to 21.1.176.

you can try changing this in build.gradle which is in the root of your project but mcreator might just override it
