Falling Leaf Particle Tinting

i have these red leaves, but they produce gray falling leaf particles. i found out that their color depends on the tint of the block, but I want my red leaves to stay the same color no matter what biome it's in. Would there be a way to force the falling leaf particles to be a certain color?
