Stuck Setting Up Gradle (fixed)

Hello, im getting back into mod making after a while. I'm using the newest version of mcreator setting up a project with neoforge on version 1.21.8 with 12gb of ram allocated. been waiting on the setting up gradle project screen for 30 minutes. any idea what could be wrong.

edit: I uninstalled and reinstalled, and cleared the caches. now it is working.
