Blockstates and models changes
Sun, 12/21/2025 - 23:28 (edited)

Blockstates are great for builders, with stairs, slabs, walls, ect... you can use different blockstates but its all the same block but with a different model and Mcreator doesn't have this for some reason when it really should. The only exception to this is the build in stuff like selecting a different block base to one of the presets.

pros:

  • makes typing commands easier (instead of typing different name for every blockstate)
  • more more convenient and user friendly
  • combining different blockstates without needing separate models for every combination
  • less (for lack of a better word) clunky
  • can use debug stick on it

cons:

  • idk, might be really complicated ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
