Nightfall. Alone. Eyes open. The camera is on. You're surrounded by trees. The map is enclosed by a ring-fence. Your body tense, you begin searching for pages that may apprise you of this place. After collecting a page, it occurs to you: the pages are interconnected, meaning you cannot leave without finding every single one. But there's another entity, who may have left them there. It guards the pages. Protects them. As if it's also connected to them in some way.
It's after you.

This is an updated and improved version of my Haunted Woods mod! I hope you'll like it! Here's a quick guide to get it running smoothly:
Type /slender to run the mod (commands need to be toggled on in the world).
Additional customizations are available by typing following the command.
Recommended to use with multiplayer!
Tip: Press F1 for better immersion!
You can use the mod with your own map or with naturally generated terrain, which may be more or less conducive to gameplay.
Certain scares can be disabled by fully lowering the Hostile Mobs volume slider in the options.
Some sound files are taken from the original Slender: The Eight Pages game.
