Random Infinitely Connected Rooms Generation (Backrooms)

I know there have been a few posts like this over the past years, but none of them have been particularly helpful sadly. :(

So, with that being said, how can I create a randomly generated infinite backrooms (NOT restricted to 16x16) using my custom structures of varying sizes ? (7x7, 9x9, 11x16, etc.)

I'm open to anything apart from extensive code editing, so if anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear! :D

(Also I read somewhere that jigsaws can only spread up to 7 times from their parent)

You can only use 16x16…

You can only use 16x16 structures, however you can use building techniques to make a 9x9 within a 16x16, both enclosed and open structures should be easy to do this way, for enclosed simply fill in the space to be 16x16, for open just fill in the floor, it depends on your structure style I guess

Check out some vanilla structure/jigsaw sets to see how minecraft does it

To make larger rooms, you must make them out of 16x16 chunks, then use a custom placer block or potentially even structure jigsaw may work if you spawn it all on a single level

Jigsaw can spread 20 times, they can be massive with the right building techniques so that they don't overlap, overlapping jigsaw pieces will cause the structure to stop generating, at least on that branch, and it has a limit of 128 blocks or so from the origin in any direction, meaning you could have a jigsaw of 256x256x256 ish, a bit smaller but basically huge
