Change Player's Orientation

I was wandering if there is any way, within MCreator, to change the players orientation. A mod I loved called Starminer hasn't been updated to 1.12.2 and I don't think it ever will be, so I was hoping to recreate a very small part of the mod myself. I wanted to make panels you could put on walls and ceilings (any block face) that would then allow the player to walk on those walls or ceilings. Is this too complex to do within MCreator? Or is there some way I could make it work? Any help is appreciated.
