I want to make a mod with effects that have custom death messages (like the wither effect)
Is there a way to make this already?
If not, I have thought of a new block or a change of the pre-existing Deal Damage block.
Deal [Number] damage with custom death message: name [Text]
If it was a change, then the custom death message would have a checkbox before the with.
Here's how it would work.
The number is the amount of damage dealt, just like the already existing Deal Damage block. Simple.
The text is the custom death message, with the name before it meaning the name of the dead player.
The checkbox (if it was a change) would change if the custom death message was said or if the normal "*Name* died" message
This is quite a small detail, but if it was added, it could allow for a LOT more personalization of effects or other damaging things.

Although this wouldn't allow for custom death messages, it'll help in making stuff such as custom cacti and magma blocks.
The thing I want to make is a bleeding effect, with the custom death message *Name* Bled out. There is nothing similar to this, but a good idea.
