Hi, I am working on a mod that adds new trees to the game. There will be two kinds, one will only spawn in the jungle biome, and the other will spawn in all biomes. For the past week I have been trying to make them spawn using the generate structure mod element, but it will only let me use .NBT files. The issue with this is that the only way I know of to easily make .NBT files is MCedit & MCedit2.0, but neither seem to support modded blocks. If there is a way to make a .NBT with modded blocks, please tell me how, it would be appreciated. Also, I can make a .schematic with modded blocks very easily, but it appears that there is no way to generate a structure using a .schematic file in this version, only a .NBT. If there is anything someone can do to help, thanks, any help whatsoever is appreciated.
I suggest you check our tutorials collection playlist on our YouTube channel which contains many examples and tutorials that can help you get started with MCreator: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAeL-oIFIEngE6jRgFYeFMfuj8WQsO3Ei
Thanks, as this is the only problem I've been having using this software so far, do you happen to know any way around this exact issue?
you can use structure blocks to make it, search a bit on the website
Thanks, I'll look right now! Just to make sure, you are referring to MCreator version 1.9.1?
Yes, that is the newest version.
There is a wiki page called how to make a new structure I think
Wait i think I found it: https://mcreator.net/wiki/how-make-structure
It says it is for 1.8.3 but I have strctures in my mod alloy:the fusion and it works perfectly for 1.9.1 and 1.9.0.
