How Do I Make an Armor Texture???

Anybody know the steps to getting an Armor Texture for Armor It says I need a Name of Texture File and I have no idea what its talking about can someone please help me Thx!

What? How did he get to the "Minecraft" folder? I'm running java (Windows) and I have no idea how to get there.

i don't know if you have realised now or something, but when you create a new texture there is an option for creating an armor texture.
