i made a dimension and the only way you get there is with a item with a gui but when you right click anything you instantly go there how do i fix this please help

Currently, item GUIs don't work, maybe you can use a block GUI?
I have an item like this, works perfectly.
Have it open the GUI on right click in air, and find the dimension id of your dimension and have it change entity dimension id when you click the button.
Pretty easy! :)
