Entity Texture Layers

So I'm trying to make an entity with layers that can randomly generate but they have to be there. If anyone here knows of the mod KAGIC, it uses gem placements on the entities known as gems. I want to do layers like that, they always randomize per entity but always stay the same afterwards. Is there any way to do this in MCreator without code? If not, how would I go about coding this in?
