Hey there! After a long while I've come back with a feature request!
I'm not really sure if this has been suggested before; I have checked, and I found nothing close to this, so I guess this is the first time it is suggested
The feature request, as can be understood from the title of it, is, let's call 'em that, "Flying/Land hybrid mobs"
What I mean by this is to be able to:
*Define 2 models instead of one (Which, of course, one would be for the flying state and one for the land state). Perhaps also give the two different models different animations aswell!
*Decide when exactly the mob should fly or should walk (Say, start flying if nobody's around. Maybe make him run aswell) and perhaps also change the model accordingly. I think this would blend nicely with the Entity AI Conditions (If my understanding of that feature is correct) and could be used to make Amphibious creatures.
This is all i've got for today! Hope you have a good one!

Huh, I see...well, you know, at least I tried suggesting it. I'll probably try the conditional thing later if it isn't part of a snapshot (for I prefer just using actual versions instead of snapshots). Perhaps the AI switch could be done with Land and water as well, just like Zarc suggested, but I don't want to bother Devs further with other requests!
Switching models is out of the scope at the moment, but conditional flying AI task is already possible.
