Bottle/Bucket crafting dupe

I recently came up with a mod idea for Sweet Berry Jam, however I have came across an issue. One of the things my mod adds into the game is Toast with Jam. The recipe is 1 bottle of Sweet Berry Jam and 1 bread slice. (both modded items) When the player crafts the Toast with Jam I have it set up to give the player 1 empty glass bottle. The one issue I came across was that when I shift click to craft the item it gives me two empty bottles, essentially duping glass bottles. I am assuming that the game counts shift clicking as crafting twice for some reason. I have tried a couple different things, one of them being just using a command, however nothing is fixing the issue. Does anyone know how to fix this?
