A better and easier way to make custom blocks.

So I make a mod called Cool Things, currently out on Curseforge, and my mod has a few custom blocks that make different things. Every time I make a new one, I have to make the GUI and Procedure for it to function, but I feel like it would be easier if while making the GUI there was a button that you can click to automatically configure it for you. Just an idea, but I think it would a good QOF feature.
