Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
Custom profesions and jobs parameters:
1. Villager texture
2. Profesion/Job
3. Work station block
4. Trades for every rank of proffesion (or make it in loot table)
5. Discounts(from Hero of the village effect) and Rises of prizes(for hurting villagers)
this is something that should have already been added, I suppose it would be very difficult for the MCreator developers to code something like that in, I really hope it is in the 2021.3 update
thank you :)
I'm not the Developer of Mcreator, so I might be wrong.
Exactly the point pigmanmovie-pylo mentioned. It is kinda advanced and specific, so I doubt if they are going to be introduced anytime soon (there are a lot of more important features).
You can, tho:
1. Use this tutorial (can be outdated).
2. Make your own GUI and buttons/slots for trades - it will look probably less professional than vanilla trading, but can look great too, and most importantly - it is possible to be introduced without any code, with most of functionalities done by player-related variables and custom NBT tags for "other villagers" (you can make trades dependent on Hero of the Village, professions and exclusive trades)
Custom trades -> 2021.4/2022.1
Custom villagers -> After villager trades and the time Max (one of the contributors) will have.
Dang, was it planned so soon? :o
What an awesomeness!
I dont mean to add new villager mobs.
I assume "custom trades" part are meant to be for vanilla villagers too
Well yes, but actualy no.
I guess you understand i mean custom villager JOBS and PROFESIONS.
Nevermind, either way I think Goldorion meant also that thing.
out of curiosity, did anyone ever find a way to add new proffesions?
The new Villager Professions mod element is on the verge of being added to MCreator.
Here's the current PR: https://github.com/MCreator/MCreator/pull/2630 if this PR is closed (and merged) then it means 2023.2 will have that feature. It will be possible to add trades to the new professions with the existing Villager Trades mod element.
oh, cool, thank you
