how to make a plant turn into air if the player doesn't have a certain achievement completed

i want to make things that you can only get once the ender dragon is completed, sorta like hardmode in terraria. i want to make it turn to air specifically so i can use it on other blocks and possibly make them turn into other blocks but only if you dont have the kill the ender dragon achievement/advancement
