Help with armor layer texture not working on iMac

So I was trying to make armor for a Matt from wii sports mod i'm making (on a mac) then I imported the armor texture and for some reason, when I try to save, the only issue is "Armor needs to have a texture" even though I selected the armor texture

Does anyone know why this happens and does anyone know how to fix this?
