whenever I try importing anything, not just java models, mcreator seems to freeze up and not respond, this means I need to wait 30+ minutes till mcreator will actually load the select a file gui, it also freezes when I try going into another folder while searching for file.
i'm having that same problem too, i have no clue what's causing it
are you on an expeiramental version?
i'm using the 1.17.1 version, idk what the OP's using though
ok so i switched from the .zip version to the .exe version and now it works, i think that's how you fix it
nevermind! so about a month later now, mcreator freezes when trying to import anything so i have to drag and drop things
