I cannot import anything.

I am currently using a different device than my main one, and this odd thing keeps happening.
Whenever I try to import a texture (.png) or model (.json) it does not show up anywhere. Infact, nothing appears when I attempt to import a texture/model.
I have tried changing the names of the files, searching through forums, and getting help with family.
I have tried rebooting my laptop, and closing/reopening mcreator.
If you have any ideas on how to solve this, please, please help.
