Topic category: Help with Minecraft modding (Java Edition)
im trying to make it so when you equip this armor item I made it opens a GUI
i have no idea if this is even possible, if it isn't is there any alternatives??? like opening when right clicking with the item in hand or smthn

so far ive tried it so that when you right click on air with the item it opens it but it didn't work and made it so when you rightclicked on air with ANY item, and I've tried when you put the helmet on it runs the open GUI script but it repeated it every tick making it so that you arent able to close it or turn it off
I have no clue how to do this properly
a vanilla gui or a custom gui?
