this is litteraly a copy and paste of the original into a plugin generator so nothing to fancy, but i have figured out how to make new versions for it
the orignal dev doesn't seem to be coming back any time soon so ill downgrade the versions for yall to fit with the original

So far I'm only able to load in JEI, and it works just fine. Any other mod I try and put in the compile-mods folder crashes when I run the client. I've tried 20+ mods at this point and they all result in this error in console:

Still having issues, regardless of how the filename is formatted. Using JourneyMap as an example, I've tried the following filenames and none have worked:
journeymap-1.20.1-5.9.13-forge.jar
journeymap-1.20.1-5.9.13.jar
journeymap-5.9.13-1.20.1.jar
journeymap-1.20.1-forge-5.9.13.jar
journeymap-1.20.1.jar
I've tried other mods as well. The only one I've been able to get working is JEI, and the filename is this:
jei-1.20.1-forge-15.19.5.99.jar
It works fine, and doesn't adhere to the modname-mcversion-modversion format with the word "forge" thrown in there.
indeed, i upgraded the api to work in 2024.2 so if your mod required this plugin to function, you can use it in 2024.2 now, so yes. it should work. otherwise you can just update to the latest software , however you might need to get a generator for 2024.2 forge 1.16.5 since i don't think its in the base generator
