Issue description

it's my first time using this program and i can't even start it!
it's says "error code:java_xms_invalid_value" i have no idea on how to solve this, please help

Did you tweak preferences? Open MCreator and open preferences before opening any workspace and set minimal and max RAM to proper values (max > min) in Gradle section, save changes and then open a workspace.

Same, I tried changing the initial and maximum values but nothing changes. Older versions of MCreator worked before for me.

What are your min and max settings?

Make sure you don't have a global system environment variable called "_JAVA_OPTIONS" defined too.

The initial value is 1024, the maximum is 2000.

I deleted the _JAVA_OPTIONS environment variable, but nothing changes.

Make sure there are no definitions of it for any user nor global and then reboot computer.

I don't get the error anymore, but the process gets stuck at " >Running 'decompile' "

This can take up to 1 hour to complete.

i cant do anything on my task it says it doesnt have enough ram (wwe rund out of ram) how can i fix this?

Five Simple Steps to resolve Invalid RAM allocation detected error in mcreator

Step 1 : Press windows button on your keyboard, it will open search bar.

Step 2 : Now type "enviro" in the search bar of windows, and then click the first option (don't type the whole thing).

Step 3 : Then find and select "_JAVA_OPTIONS" then delete it.

Step 4 : Press on ok once deleted.

Step 5 : Reboot(restart) your laptop or pc.

Now open the application and it should work normally now.

Is it a folder because what i get is the environment folder for hoi4

i cant delete _java_options?
