Only Zip available for export

Issue description

Please have a look at the screenshots below.

Have tried both:

Workspace -> Export the mod for distribution

the yellow icon in the upper right corner, and

Control+E

Yet no matter how I do it, I can never export it as a .jar file, only zip.

This is a workspace for minecraft 1.15.x .

when I export as .zip and then convert it to .jar I get error from forge for being invalid.

when I place the .zip as it is within the mods folder, nothing happens within minecraft and the mod isn't even loaded.

What should I do?

This is not how you export your mod.

To export mod, use Workspace -> Export the mod for distribution

Is excactly what I did.

but the problem is, I only get to choose .zip format. I cannot chose .jar

Can you please have a look at my screenshot in full detail to see what I mean?

Sorry, I misunderstood you. The problem is that you selected datapack workspace type which is in ZIP format.

You probably wanted to make Forge mod, so to do this, select Forge when making a new workspace. Forge mods are in JAR format.
