Topic category: Help with MCreator software
Hi!
I recently watched a video on creating a non-standard sized crafting grid for- believe it or not- an upcoming mod I'm working on that may or may not ever see the light of day.
The tutorial, however, has all spaces on a 5x5 grid (mine being 5x3) completely filled with items so that all spaces require something in order for it to work. My recipes however would have more blank spaces- but I can't seem to find anything in the original tutorial or anything here on the forum that explains how to do that as I keep getting "Empty Minecraft element block. You need to define the element." errors when I leave anything blank, and I can't seem to find an element that would allow for it to remain blank.
I apologize if that was confusing- I'm not quite sure how else I might be able to explain it. For reference, at least, here is a screenshot of my current crafting procedure. Ignore the one at the very top- that was the one I was trying to mix and match to see if I could find anything else to fit.
I will definitely be fiddling around with it further, but any help or guidance would be very much appreciated.
Possibly try air instead of blank.
Interesting thought! But unfortunately, it wants to have an air block in the recipe with that in place instead.
Remove the sections you do not need in the recipe. Try to understand what this template does first, though.
