Texture for armors without using "Armor Texture" resource

I created a texture for an armor but I didn't use the "armor texture" resource, I just created the textures and then I created the armor and then, on the first armor configuration page, I clicked on the squares then selected the textures and then OK; that thing that you know. Now, on the second configuration page, MCreator is asking me the texture file; when I open the file selector, it is empty.

So my suggestion is: make an thing that we can just say "Ok, MCreator, this 4 textures here are armor textures." so MCreator can bind them 4 and use them as an armor texture.

There can only be two armour textures. Unless you mean the items, but then I still wouldn't understand what you were asking. But your two armour files must end with _layer_1 and _layer_2.
