When it comes to making my plant (which is aquatic) generated, it does so but not in the sea, just above the ocean water. Anyone know how I can fix this?

When it comes to making my plant (which is aquatic) generated, it does so but not in the sea, just above the ocean water. Anyone know how I can fix this?
"Water" plant type means your plant is similar to lily pads, not to kelp or seagrass. Waterlogged blocks/plants aren't supported yet, but there should be a ticket in the tracker.
I really hope waterlogged plants are added soon, it would be great.
