I apologize in advance of this is the wrong area, So I've been reading around and most if the tutorials or solutions I've found are fairly older some are at least 2 months old, I'm trying to add a loot table to my custom chest I made but I cant seem to get it to work I dont want to do it through coding or make multiple structures, I read they were going to fix the bug in a new snapshot but that was 2 months ago and I'm pretty sure they fixed that but idk what I'm doing wrong si if someone could explain how to do that it would be great

I'm having trouble. I do everything as the videos say, but it never spawns.
This is the command my command block executes to spawn a chest on top and fill it with the custom loot table.
/setblock ~ ~1 ~ minecraft:chest 0 replace {LootTable:"outposter:chests/civil"}
my mods registry name is outposter
the loot table type is chest
the loot table registry name is chests/civil
the loot table namespace is set to mod
i'm using 1.12.2.
am I doing anything wrong? And if there's a better place to get an answer to this, please point me there
yes.
loot tables only work for 1.14
:,(
what a shame.
yah,
even worse they are dropping 1.12 support in the update after the next update
you have so much points crispy chips
