Better animation tools
Tue, 04/21/2020 - 14:24 (edited)

I think some more tools for better animation would be appropriate.  There are a couple mobs I made that ended up with no animation because of, for instance, the fact that you can’t make a mob nod if you want it to be able to turn its head.

I also think they should be included in procedures.  I was thinking something like a procedure like play animation [choose an animation you made] override current animations [select true or false]

Finally, I feel like you should be able create an animation using keyframes, or at least import animations somehow from another platform.  I think this would make mobs like 1000 times better.

I am with you there, a lot…

I am with you there, a lot of the mobs I have made, I had to hunt relentlessly for 3rd party programs that can animate JAVA models for MC modding (Like GEKO Labs)... Sure MCcreator has limited assigning on animation for parts of a model but they make it kind of more tedious than it really needs to be. I wish these features would be improved!
