Topic category: Help with MCreator software
I have been making a terraria mod for some time, and I have been working on making it compatible with other mods via ore dictionaries. Only something is a little off with MCreator's ore dictionaries. I have had a look around and the only ore dictionary I could find that works with vanilla was just "planks". And according to the Minecraft Gamepedia, "planks" is not an ore dictionary. If someone could provide me with a list of ore dictionaries that work with MCreator, or knows a way to use the standard minecraft ore dictionaries without MCreator changing how ore dictionaries work, that would be great!
Also, I noticed that MCreator's list of ore dictionaries is marked as legacy. Are ore dictionaries no longer a thing?
SOLVED: Vanilla ore dictionaries have been replaced with 'tags'. There is a full list of tags added in vanilla mc here.
Since 1.14.4 version we use tags instead as ore dictionary was deprecated by forge in favor of vanilla tags
So ore dictionaries are no longer a thing? I have been using tags but is there a full list of tags anywhere?
In 1.12.2 it is still ore dict.
