Custom blocks wont show up in my bedrock addon

Custom blocks wont show up in my bedrock addon

I've enabled experimental gameplay, cheats and activated both the addon and resource pack. When I try to use /give to receive my block like I would with a custom item it does not show up. I am however playing on the latest bedrock beta, could this be the issue?

Yes, the addon maker makes addons for 1.14.x
