I have some ideas for better Inventory / Hopper support like auto-input / -output to adjacent blocks, a slot blacklist for Hoppers and something to only accept items from a preset list. This would be very helpful.

But you can't block slots for pulling hoppers yet (except the manual override)

If a hopper pulls items from this block, it will pull from all slots.
there is an option to specify output slots to prevent that.
But that’s what I said in a previous comment
That somehow doesn't work for my projects.
Oh I see ... hadn't installed the update yet. ^^
