My idea is to add a new tool to MCreator, the Bar tool. A bar would have 3 forms
1 Simmilar to the food or health bar that has custom icons
2 Progress bar Simmilar to boss health bar but over your hotbar
3 Simmilar to xp bar this bar would work like an xp bar but it would be filled up by other things
It would be possible to modify the bar state using new procedures
This would be pretty cool! But I have concerns for the difficulty of implementing something like this. Good luck!
Ok... This is one of the most useful things that could be added to Mcreator. I agree that is should be at least looked into! However, it might be hard for the developers to implement this, as rmsandegs mentioned.
I believe you can make a little 3rd party GUI that changes based on certain circunstances. It is not hard, but it would take some time to make. What exactly you want to do?

This would be cool but you should also be able to rotate the bars by 90 degrees and move them around.
Actually you can do it through UX and procedures. It is a big labor but it is possible to do without coding.
