I have thought Minecraft needed a cave update so I did it instead. Also any ideas that aren’t to advanced I read in here might be added to the mod.

Wait a minute I should just remake everything. I have the textures. I have the procedures so I won't change ids of everything.
I am going to redo it all. But it might take a few days. I am updating to 1.15 then later 1.16
Also I am going to try my best to get this done before a week. Caves will look better than ever before since vanilla caves are boring.
1.15 beta is pretty good so far
Also I hope mcreator supports 1.16 soon. I am used to 1.16 and prefer it over 1.15 since in 1.16 the nether looks amazing and in 1.15 I don't know any mods that improve the nether. Lastly, I am working on 1.15 port. I won't add new mobs until 1.16 most likely
THE FIRST 1.15 BETA IS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is missing some stuff currently. Structures are currently not in yet since it is just the first beta version.
There I finally changed my avatar. I am also working on a new mod coming soon: Dungeons to Java which will add minecraft: dungeons blocks, items and possibly armor to java editkion.

I might add 1.12 again if it isn't glitchy. But most likely not. Also currently I am testing stalactites.
I am going to finally fix the textures. Also if I do update 1.12 version it will take longer. So probably no updates for 1.12 version. Also everything is going to be retextured. I also will add more fungi like in one of the comments on this forum. Also heated iron which will be acquired by smelting iron ingots.
I can confirm that either today or in a few days to a week I will update
I am going to add a total of 9 stalactite variants per block that will have stalactites. It is going to take time though. Until I finish that I will be making models. I am adding the blocks already.
If any one is wondering why nine different models for stalactites it is because with 9 variants it is easier for me to build the structures and for a bit of a challenge since most mods that add stalactites only add one variant so I decided to see if I could add nine. Also once 1.16 is supported I will port to 1.16 and will only develop for each one version at a time like how currently all the progress I made is for 1.15 also there will be way more blocks since this time I would like to add one stone type for almost every biome. Also lastly Until I started working on Cavecraft: Cave Update I didn’t realize something: the nether is basically a huge cave so maybe thats why there are vertical biomes in the nether.
I am starting the Upgrade Infernal mod for 1.16.1 fabric.
