I agree with ModProgrammMiked, I have learned to code the best by experimenting on my own. The reason I use MCreator is because tutorials for mods suck. Sure they are in-depth, but they never address compiling issues and I can never make a mod from scratch. Heck, I've learned more from experimenting on my own then actual tutorials.
Just test things. The best Tutorial is to learn by testing.
