Issue with installing CTM

I tried to manually install CTM on my workspace, as I wanted to use connected textures for a mod I was making that would require it so it looked good. The game starts, but it doesn't finish the loading process.

Note: The block I want to have CTM work on contains multiple connecting textures.

Here's my console after the crash:

Any help is appreciated! (And, also, the internal ID of CTM would be nice, too)

I would also like this to be looked into, I have the same problem and can't find anything about it (or what i can find is old or outdated info) . I think it might have to do with mcreator 2020.4 and compatibility issues with addon mods, but i don't know, ive tried adding some other mods such as jei but those also dont work.

In the newer MCreator versions you can no longer import mods in the workspace folder. You can still test if your mod works with CTM by exporting it and loading it using the Minecraft launcher
