How can I make an overlay that when I'm right clicking with a sword/item, protects me for like 5 seconds? And you can see that overlay it's passing and after that it can't work for 5 seconds after being used?
Pls help.
not a Minecraft code wizard but i think you could make a custom shield by making an item that extends ShieldItem or something, not sure... and on trigger "on player stopped using item", cooldown provided item for like 5 seconds.
in my case tho, i can't find any custom 1.14 - 1.15 shield tutorials (all the results i get are about shield w/ banner patterns) and the Forge forums just seem stagnant, it's not even funny :/
yes but i want a Overlay that shows when he's protected like the armor bar but decaying and the shield a sword without making the player slower when right clicking but thx anyway
If u want to help more, just think about the Asgard Shields mod from Hexxit that's what i want to do but with swords insead of shields
oh, you mean the shield blocking action type on swords, just like on old vanilla Minecraft (which sadly got removed) except without giving slowness?
