I think you can add timer blocks o((>ω< ))o
I am sure it would be more useful in make procedures anyway.
You can also make some thing like "Wait - ticks" or "Wait - seconds"

How and why would it benefit MCreator?
I mean personally I think NBT timers work just fine.
Also MCreator is no longer receiving feature requests as it is stopping development.
You should check out some of the continuing forks of MCreator
It is not even really possible to make single delay block.
