Sat, 02/23/2019 - 19:54 (edited)

Hello to all! Today I will show you how to give more life to your mod by adding background music very easily ! :D

if you don't see the images correctly open them in another tab !!!!!

1 - Go to the following directory : C:\Pylo\MCreator182\forge\src\main\resources\assets\minecraft

 & Make a new folder called : " sounds " like this :

Exemple

2 - Open the sounds folder & make a new folder called : " music " like this :

Exemple

3 - Open the music folder & make a new folder called : " menu " like this :

Exemple

4 - Download any music and convert it to an ogg file, when its done name the sound menu1 and do the same thing by copying the file 4 times and naming it up to 4 like this ! :

Exemple

And that's it! Now all you have to do is build your workspace and start your game and activate the music in the options! :D

I can't see the images. It just says the image you are requesting does not exist or is no longer available.

It's because it's outdated, Does not mean that it doesn't work anymore though. First off Click on the Top "Workspace" Tab in MCreator and "Open Workspace folder". Now go to src > main > resources > assets, Then in there create a new folder called "Minecraft". Now you can quite literally follow the exact steps of the tutorial above by putting the folders mentioned in the Tutorial, within this new Minecraft folder. After you're done go to "Build & Run" and Hit "Regenerate" (This may not be necessary for you, But after I did all the steps my music still wasn't playing until i hit Regenerate. Hope this helps!)
