Help with JAVA_HOME variable pointing to the JDK installation directory

Hi,

I attended a college course many years ago where I used MCreator to create mods for Minecraft and recently I remembered and had a desire to join back in the community and make mods. I suggest you install Java using your package manager you use. Otherwise, try googling or checking Ubuntu forums for help.

Do not blindly follow what I say as you could ruin your computer!!!!! Check it first. I take no responsibility for what ever may happen

Find where either jdk or jre is not sure which, copy the file path, add it into the computer variable called path, make a new varriable called JAVA_HOME and paste the file path into it. Delete the last part of the path .bin or something.

Good luck. Do not forget to back up all the stuff on your computer.
