I want to make armor in my Ruby Mod, but I need to make a template, and I don't know how. Please tell me what program I should use, and what part of the template is what (Like where the leggings are). You can use a video, just make sure it's not in a version of MCreator where everything looks different.

Where the legs are etc can be found by going inside of your minecraft folder and going to textures. Take the diamond armor as reference for example. You can find where they are stored by googling for both mac and windows.
How do you make those kinds of textures through MCreator? I know hot to make the hotbar icon but what about the actual texture?

Nevermind there's a tool for it. You click tools at the top and then click create armor texture. And when you create the armor, all the items should be there, so you don't have to bother make all the other textures.
