I've been working on a structure to be used for spawning in my biome. I've decorated and built it to my liking. Started adding paintings to some of the walls. But when the structures get spawned in, all the paintings disappear. I thought this might have something to do with air blocks or structure voids, but I don't know too much about how those work. Anyone else have issues with items not spawning inside your structures?
i'm not sure on this but paintings, armor stands, and item frames should count as entities, not blocks, for the purpose of saving a structure. this means you should click the but to save entities in the structure block when saving the structure and it should work.
Oh ok, that makes sense. I get confused with the OTHER category which is like everything. I did a test by clicking the SAVE ENTITY button, and threw a bunch of paintings, item frames with items attached, and an armor stand. Everything BUT the paintings made it, so I'm not too sure. Going to keep chugging away at it. Thanks Nilek20!
Hey super iv been looking into this and cant seem to replicate the problem. i built a test structure with a painting in it and when i tried loading it in with both the structure block (with load entities checked) and as a mcreator structure spawn the painting spawned just fine. the only things i can thin of are a quirk with structure spawning that causes painting to "move" when spawned as talked about in this link.

The only other thing i can think of is maby a bug with mcreator itself (im using 2020.5). if you are using the snapshot it might be a bug in the snapshot.
Well it appears to be working now for the most part. I made a test structure with a bunch of paintings. The structures spawn as expected, and most of the paintings are still intact. But there are sometimes a few dropped or floating paintings. This is not a deal breaker for me, but it could be that bug you mentioned. Thanks again nilek, appreciate it. The big takeaway from this, entities are more than monsters!
