Edit Existing Items/Blocks?

Is there a chance that we can get a tab or something to edit already existing blocks, like the GUI or texture, nothing that would break the block,, unless you delete it, but I'd love to be able to edit already existing blocks without coding or procedures or anything like that. So is there a chance we could get that?
