Trying to make a block that makes you jump higher when standing on it

What procedure will make it possible so no fall damage is taken after jumping off the block, but when you hit the ground this effect is disables so you can take fall damage again?

Maybe make it only give them…

Maybe make it only give them jump boost for a tick while they're standing on it?
