Mcreator randomly erasing code

The title says it all. Randomly when I link a condition to an overlay or gui, it erases the code when I regenerate auto-generated code and rebuild. Any solutions?

Locking the code doesn't work for some reason. It just keep erasing random parts of it, if not the entire thing :/

Update: I narrowed it down to overlays. It doesn't save the code for overlays (and sometimes GUIS)

Got another update on this…

Got another update on this situation: When creating an overlay, I have to enter only 1 text line or else it won't save on initial creation. Then I have to repeat that for the second element, and then after that no matter how many times I save the overlay, it does not update the code
