Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
I am making mods and a ton of people want it for 1.17. 1.17 has been out for months and forge is fully into 1.17. I understand that you need to understand the code or whatever, but 1.17 has been out for months.
You didn't read the news? It will never come to MCreator because we love so much Minecraft 1.7.10.
Support for Minecraft 1.17.x will be in the next update. Search a bit on the website.
Be patient with Klemen. He has a life outside of MCreator.
I love your irony, Goldorion.
I'd also ask OP for more thought on what programmers do. It's not simple "well, they need to change '1.16' to '1.17' in code" change, sometimes changes are so massive that you need to waste a lot of time not only in understanding changes, but also how to rework your own code to the one that changed. Forge needed about two months to get that done, and MCreator relies on Forge too, so it's not like 1.17 being for three months is something really helpful. Most of Forge mods are still not available for 1.17, and even a lot of Fabric ones are not. Keep also in mind that releasing 1.17 version with many bugs would be just stupid, noone would enjoy that. And this is most likely what would happen with programming in rush.
Also, while asking about new updates can be irritating (because how many times can we answer for the question that was asked and answered thousands times before? this is really wasting everyone's time), demanding things is even more harmful. It can easily lead to devs being burned out and delaying the update you wanted.
Not to mention that you didn't pay anything to MCreator as far as I see, you didn't contribute to it, you get it for free and with hard work of a lot of people on Pylo - so you basically do nothing to get so much. Yet you still demand. I suggest you to learn simple coding in Python, it's extremely easy language to learn, but you will see - even with such "noob language" as Python - how much struggle is to make more complicated things work. It's really worthy lesson of humility, to just do things we demand myself.
That's a very lovely question, Saskill
(I'm not late to the party am I?)
Hi moderators! :D
Matej where are you? XD
Why don't you just take 1.17 forge and just import the code for it?
If it's that easy why don't you do it?
It's released, but I don't see it anywhere for updating.
