I just downloaded the newest mcreator for mac but for some reason i cannot open the DMG file.

I just downloaded the newest mcreator for mac but for some reason i cannot open the DMG file.

I had the same problem. If you selected during uninstalling the old version to save client settings, you have to unistall one more time, restart your pc, delete the remaining MCreator files and then install again. Your old settings and workspaces should remain the same but you can make backup just in case.
Delete remaining MCreator files? Won't that make me lose my code?

The dmg file won't even open, I forgot to mention.
As for the code problem, please open your workspace file, and store the elements and drc folders. One of these two folders stores code and the other stores images, but they may not be displayed on MCreator. If it is not displayed, delete all the files in the elements folder first, which may be useful.
I don't understand what you mean. The problem is that I cannot open the dmg file, aka the installer, so I cannot go into the files of MCreator.
Should I just report this as a bug? Surely seems like one.
